You will need a valid passport/ID, a valid driving license, and a Zanzibar driving permit. The Zanzibar permit costs USD $10 per driver (as per our policy).
Yes. We deliver within Zanzibar town free of charge. For pickup points outside Zanzibar town, an extra fee may apply (e.g., $20 depending on location).
We accept Visa and MasterCard (where available), bank transfer, cash, and mobile money. Payment method is confirmed during booking confirmation.
Insurance covers major incidents like road accidents and fire, generally when repair costs are 500,000 TZS or above (about $218 depending on exchange rate). We also support clients to access required services after an accident.
Damage caused by carelessness or violation of road rules may be charged to the renter. Also, personal belongings in the vehicle are at the renter’s own risk.
If the car breaks down by itself (not due to carelessness), the company covers maintenance. If you pay first, we refund the valid amount. If breakdown is due to carelessness, the renter covers the cost.
Contact us immediately. Do not pay bribes. We will handle police matters properly after receiving your report.
Yes, please notify us at least 24 hours before your return time to confirm availability and avoid late penalties.
If you return the car late without prior agreement, a fine of $10 per hour may apply.
Yes, but each driver must have a Zanzibar driving permit (USD $10 per driver).
Normally fuel is the renter’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Yes, we can provide a professional driver upon request. Driver cost depends on duration and route.
Cross-island travel depends on ferry rules and prior approval. Please contact us before booking if you plan to travel to Pemba.
